What about a hockey trade like
Trouba
for
OEL, Schenn and a pick.
Even though I don't know if Trouba would sign in Arizona. Who knows though. |

I have no problem with a hockey trade at this time. Making the organization stronger at any time is always a good move.
The NY Isles are an interesting team to look at...they have 2 first round picks and a RHD Ryan Pullock as well as some good forward pieces and prospects. There could be a deal somewhere with the Isles. |

hockey trade that makes sense Duncan Keith and Artem Anisimov for Trouba ,Stanley, Conner and 2nd , |
|

The elephant in the room is Trouba. Does he want to be here ? Can he be re-signed ?
Moving forward we cannot keep Trouba, Buff, and Myers. If Buff was traded, Trouba would become the kingpin that he wants to be. Is Buff tradeable with his contract ?
Jets have certainly proven that they can win without Buff. I wish I had the answers. |

This is a straightforward hockey trade that I have been advocating for since the 2016 draft. I don't even think any pieces would need to be added. |

There are only 2 circumstances in which I do anything to this roster:
1: Trouba actually wants out. Not fan chatter, like he’s actually told Chevy to his face he wants to go. With this, you simply go after a similar caliber, younger/not yet as good dman. Either side works.
2: Someone expresses interest in Myers. You jump on that immediately. I don’t even care what the return is. Poolman is better now, and the gap will widen as Myers ages out.
We’re fine up the left side. Morrissey is in the process of changing his legal name to “Norrissey”, Enstrom is having a bounce back year and is still top 4 material, and Kulikov seems to be slowly moving back to 2012 Kulikov. We’re fine.
The right side, however... ho boy. Trouba is elite, but might want out. Buff is expensive, which is fine, but he may be in decline. Myers seems to be showing early signs of aging out, and is a tire fire. |

How about Travis Sanheim? Young left-handed two-way defenseman with a year left on his ELC past this year. I'd do him and a 3rd that becomes a second if Trouba resigns with Philadelphia. |

Myers at 27 is on the decline and Enstrom at 31 is having a bounce back season? Myers has a team friendly contract and wants to be here. Wow, Rexypoo!!! Just wow!

If its Gardiner, better make sure that Kadri is part of that package. |

How can a guy (Enstrom) be having a bounce back year, when he has missed more than 1/2 of the games played so far ?
Almost as funny as the Hawks fan that thinks we would give up the farm for a 34 year old Duncan Keith.... |

Trouba will be gone. We are fine with Poolman on the right side 3rd pairing. LH side is ok as well. I think we will trade Trouba for a LH defenseman and a pick.
Buff
Meyers
Poolman (Niku, Nogier) depth guys
Morresy
Kulikov
?
Chairot
we are perfectly fine on defense without Trouba IMHO |

For Myers?

Only been saying it since two summers ago but Nurse for Trouba still makes sense. The gap between their abilities has closed with Nurse's development this year but Trouba is still ahead. |
